Local Bum started in a college dorm in 2025 with two friends, one printer, and a stack of blank tees. We wanted clothes that felt like the place we grew up.

Rhode Island is the smallest state with the biggest opinions about clam cakes, coffee milk, and where the best beach is. We make stuff for the people who get it. Surfers, swimmers, boaters, oyster shuckers, lighthouse loiterers, and sand-nappers.

Every piece is hand-printed in small batches in Rhody. The colors fade. The fits get better. That's kind of the point.
